Imagine Monster® meets MySpace®.  Welcome to InterviewMeLive.com.  Interview Me Live is a website where college students can upload their resumes, photos, personal introductions, and pre-recorded interviews to setup a live online interview with prospective employers. 

 

Below is a list of what Interview Me Live will eventually allow you to do.  Currently, you can Sign Up with Interview Me Live and we will post these items for you.  If you would like any adjustments to be made to your current profile, email the administrator at contactus@interviewmelive.com with any questions or suggestions.

 

1)      Post Your Resume:

 

Send your resume to resumes@interviewmelive.com for us to review, or simply Sign Up with Interview Me Live on the Student page, and post your resume on the website for employers to see.

 

2)      Setup Your Interview Me Live Profile:

 

Students can setup up their profile by entering the services section of our website.  After signing up, we will provide you a password via email allowing you to login to your profile.  You can change this password once you have logged in once.  This profile will be available for ALL employers to see, so make sure your content is professional and of a manner that will reflect well to your supervisor and organization. 

 

Home:

Set Your Objective:  State your objective for posting your information on Interview Me Live in order for employers to review your information.  By stating a more general objective, you will allow for more employers to view your objective (ex. My objective is to obtain an entry level position in finance).  By stating a more specific objective, you will create a more exclusive purpose for employers to search and narrow down the employers who will access your information (ex. My objective is to obtain a full-time position as a financial advisor for a Fortune 500 company).

 

List Your Contact Information:  List your name, phone number, and email address for an employer to contact.  We ask that employers contact you by e-mail rather than by phone to make first contact, but some employers prefer to speak with candidates over the phone, so be prepared to take calls from a prospective employer.  Also, provide a professional e-mail address in which they can use to contact you.

 

View Your Attendees: View the employers that would like to schedule an interview with you.  Make sure to look at ‘My Calendar’ to ensure that you have time available to schedule an interview with the employer.

       

My Resume:

 Review Your Resume:  Review your resume to make sure that it is posted the way you sent it. 

If you would like to upload a different or additional resume, simply click on it and edit your resume

until it is complete.  Then click save, and it will be uploaded to the website for employers to see.

 

My Personal Introduction:

Upload Your Personal Introduction:  Upload a Personal Introduction, introducing yourself to employers.  You should provide employers with your name, class, major (and minor), name of the school you are attending and your expected graduation, current/last position held and your responsibilities, any extracurricular activities, and any awards or honors that you have received.  You can also include anything you are passionate about, but look to keep the entire length of the video under 2 minutes at maximum.  End your Personal Introduction with this phrase: “I am (your name), and I am on Interviewmelive.com”

 

My Pre-recorded Interview:

Upload Your Pre-recorded Interview:  After you have conducted a mock interview with your Career Services, they will provide you with a CD that you can use to upload onto Interview Me Live as your Pre-recorded Interview.  This Pre-recorded Interview will allow employers to see how you perform during an interview as you are asked questions similar to those that they are likely to ask you.

 

Photos:

 Upload Your Photos:  Upload photos that reflect your professionalism, or photos that are relevant to the position you are seeking.  Remember, these photos will be seen by ALL employers so only upload pictures that you want to represent you to your organization.  Students should upload photos of extracurricular activities, awards received, volunteer activities, business professional photos, or any photos which will enhance their opportunity to receive an interview with an employer.  PHOTOS MAY NOT CONTAIN NUDE, VIOLENT OR OFFENSIVE MATERIAL.  IF YOU VIOLATE THESE TERMS YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE DELETED [disclaimer].

 

Calendar

Set Your Calendar: Mark your calendar with dates you are scheduled to conduct interviews through Interview Me Live.  You can also use this calendar to keep up with important events that relate to you professionally or academically.  In doing this, you will enable yourself to know when you are available to schedule an interview.
